Handmade model of Aksaray palace

This model palace was built by an artist from Shakhrisabz. The entire system consists of many parts. These are tens of thousands of plastic pieces that were glued together by hand.
The height of Emir Timur’s palace was once over 80 meters high.
Timur had two palaces of the same size built in both Samarkand and Shakhrisabz. In Samarkand the palace was called Kuksaray, in Shakhrisabz Aksaray.
It took over 25 years for the Aksaray Palace to be completed.
If you visit Shakhrisabz, you have to find the painter Aziz. He has this beauty in his workshop/shop. This model is worth seeing once.
