The world is full of riddles and mysteries. The wonders that happen in it have no limits, they are inaccessible for ordinary people and therefore extremely attractive. Such anomalous zones exist not only in Uzbekistan but also in many other parts of the world in the Crimea, Moldova, Armenia, Cyprus, Jeju Island in South Korea, etc. What makes such miracles appear, no one has investigated.
Boysun is also famous for the fact that every family here carefully preserves and transmits from generation to generation the ancient rites, traditions and customs dating back to the time of pre-Islamic pagan culture. It is a region of an authentic musical culture characterized by many rituals, music and dances. Therefore, it is not without reason that in 2001 the cultural space of the Boysun district, together with 19 other regions of the world was included by UNESCO in the list of “Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity”. The International Folklore Festival “Boysun bahori” (Boysun spring) takes place here every spring. In spring, the city of Boysun surprises tourists and locals with green and blooming meadows. Hence the name of the event.
In the picturesque foothills of Boysun they build a yurt town, where folklore groups, bakhshi poets and storytellers-akyns from the entire south of Uzbekistan and the neighboring republics of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan come to participate. Artisans present their wares and conduct, master classes. In large cauldrons, delicious dishes of national cuisine are cooked. There are also national games and entertainment: belt wrestling, goat fighting, sheep and cock fights, horse races, etc. Fearless rope-walkers show their art high above the ground. There is a gala concert of popular Uzbek pop singers.
