Vegetable soup is easy to prepare. This soup consists of young lamb, juicy vegetables, and aromatic spices. A very good soup for a homemade and cozy family dinner

Description of preparation: Here is a traditional, classic recipe for making Vegetable soup/Kainatma shurpa. The dish is very popular in Central Asia in many turkic countries, but also in our open spaces. Many people know and love this soup.

It’s easy to prepare, very tasty, and beautiful on the plate! Before serving, let the soup brew under the lid for 10–15 minutes.

Composition/Ingredients:

Lamb, 800 grams

Water: 2 liters

Carrots, 2 pieces

Onions: 3–4 pieces (onion and red)

Bell pepper, 1 piece

Hot pepper, 1 piece

Potatoes, 5 pieces

Tomatoes, 500 grams

Greens to taste (dill and cilantro)

Basil: 2-3 pieces (sprigs) Spices: To taste

How to cook Vegetable soup

Wash and peel the vegetables thoroughly. Cut the lamb into pieces, add water, and bring to a boil. Remove the foam and cook until done.

Let’s prepare the vegetables. Cut the potatoes into cubes, onions and bell peppers into half rings, hot peppers into small pieces, carrots into slices, and peel the tomatoes. Add onions and carrots to the prepared broth and cook for 25 minutes. Then add potatoes, peppers, and tomatoes. After a few minutes, add spices: cumin, coriander, salt, pepper, chopped cilantro, and basil. Cook the soup until the potatoes are ready. Serve on the table, sprinkled with chopped herbs.
